Yes, you can! But, before coming, you should check with your University the requirements you must meet in order to validate the credits upon your return.

Of course you can! As COINED’s teaching plans are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which sets the standard for all the Spanish Schools, you have the freedom to start a Spanish Course in one location and then move onto a different location and continue doing the same course just where you had left without seeing the same topic twice.

On your first day, you will do a placement test. Based on your results, you will be placed in the corresponding level.

COINED’s methods consist of the combination of theory and practice. All classes have a practical approach in which you gain confidence in the use of the Spanish language.
In the early stages of the course, you will be set in everyday situations and you will be taught how to make yourself understood. Grammar structures will be gradually introduced in your lessons for you to strengthen your linguistic skills.

There are 3 different levels based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR): Basic (A), Intermediate (B), and Advanced (C). The levels, at the same time, are sub divided up into two sublevels depending on your linguistic skills.

You will begin your placement on a Monday. In cases where there is a public holiday in your destination on Monday, your first day will be Tuesday.
You will need to be at the school at 8:30 AM in order to take the placement test. You will be placed in the class that best suits your level
and you will begin your Group Spanish classes. Groups classes take place from 10 AM to 2 PM and there is a small break in between. On your first day you will have a Welcome Lunch at 2 PM, and after that, there will be a city tour with other students. If you are taking Private classes, they will begin at 3PM on your first day.

Tuesday through Friday, group classes will be from 9 AM to 1 PM and private classes will begin at 2 PM.

No, in COINED, there is only one single enrollment fee that applies for all courses, programs and destinations you wish to combine, and for as many times as you want!

The study material is generally included in most locations. If it is not included, we will let you know.

If this happens, you will have private lessons (2 hours per day) until other students with your same level of Spanish arrive. You will not pay extra for this service.

Your schedule will vary depending on the type of course that you choose. In the case of the intensive course, you’ll have morning classes (on Monday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM). Even though classes are generally during the morning, you may have classes in the afternoon as well if you choose superintensive, immersion, private, or special course options.

In order to guarantee availability in any of the programs offered by COINED, it is necessary to enroll before the program initial date: Language Courses: 4 (four) weeks, Internships: Up to 10 (ten) weeks, depending on the kind of internship, Volunteer programs: 6 (six) weeks and/or Accommodation: 4 (four) weeks, depending on the type of accommodation. If the deadlines have been met, please write or call our study abroad advisors to check availability.

Yes! The certificate will specify the level achieved and the number of hours studied. Also, you will receive a progress report specifying the topics covered and the skills you have achieved throughout the course.
